A really fun Children's museum. They have reciprocity with other museums, so be sure to show a card if you have one. Don't miss the uostairs with the very cool acience experiments and what seems like the funnest little alien spaceship for a kid to get abducted by.
Very cool. Love the free Saturday once a month. Not too crowded. Good view of the river. Lots of exhibits.
At first glance it doesn't look like much however my grandson had a blast! He is very shy so at first he wasn't sure what to do so I took the lead and after a few minutes he was exploring, socializing and learning. There are many hands on things for younger children to do and the employees are easy going and friendly. The farmers market after play time was a bonus.
Such a great place! We were visiting from North Carolina, and my almost two year old had a great time. The staff is so nice and helpful. Being the son of a fireman, he especially loved the fire station area.
Fairly small and wouldn't take kids older than 5 or 6 to it, but good for an hour or so. Being able to walk along the river afterwards is a major plus.
