Only issue was the apparent hardness of the water. No soap suds while trying to lather up in the shower, and no shampoo suds. Even had trouble shaving. Yet, a co-worker in an adjacent room soaped up fine. He thought maybe I had "bad soap". But I was using a bar of Irish Spring soap, Head and Shoulders shampoo and Gillette shaving gel. Same issues with 3 products. Who knows, maybe it's that black cloud that follows me every now and then.
Other than the shower, everything else was satisfactory.
We went downstairs and notified the front desk. We were told that she would speak with a manager but that the manager was busy. Over an hour later when we were checking out, the staff member at the front desk still had not even discussed this with the manager. We have heard nothing since.
Quality of accommodations were as expected.
We stayed here overnight to attend a wedding. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast the next day was one of the better continental breakfasts i have had in a while. The hotel is located in a residential area so it is very quiet. There is a beautiful stream by the hotel that most of the rooms look out onto. I would recommend the hotel.
The room was clean and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was tasty and well done. We had been traveling for a week and wanted to do some laundry. The washer did not spin. So at the end of the cycle everything was soaking wet. We used a second washer and had to wait through the entire process bu at least it spun out.
We stayed at the Best Western Inn and Suites at the Falls on August 8-9th in room 212. We arrived very late at night at about 1 AM after a long day of travel (and were not in bed until roughly an hour later still). We were very upset when we were awoken at 8 AM to loud construction noise from the room next-door. An extensive renovation was being done in that room. Our beds shared a wall with the room. Directly on the other side, headboards were being drilled into the wall and hammers were being used. Our beds were literally shaking from the construction. We had no notice this would be occurring, and did not get the sleep we had needed after a long day of travel.
We spent roughly $125 for a room to break up our drive and travel more rested. Had we realized we would be sleeping "at a construction site", we would have driven a few more hours to get a good night's rest and saved the money. We have stayed at this hotel in the past and specifically chose it because of a positive prior experience. We are very disappointed we did not get what we paid for (all we wanted was a good nights sleep). We do not plan to use this hotel again.
Very cozy, simple, small and quiet hotel. Friendly stuff and great location. Nice breakfast, but had to clean their bathroom myself prior to using it. Jacuzzi tub, water jets and tiles had someone's hair, dirt and scary looking debris. I liked everything else.
