I use this Home Depot frequently but wish I didn't have to. Any time I've had to ask an employee for guidance on what to buy for basic home repairs or gardening projects, they're clearly unable to actually answer my question. Today I asked a gardening associate what type of soil I should use to plant wildflowers and he asked me "what's a wildflower". Perhaps that's a fair question; I realize there are a lot of types of wild flowers. But when I showed him the bag of seed I was hoping to plant, he stared at the back of the bag briefly and then said "I guess garden soil" and then attempted, and failed, to show me garden soil. Recently I also asked an associate to show me a tool that I would be able to use to cut copper piping and he showed me hacksaw blades while shrugging. I realize I can research and buy these things online. The reason I go to a brick and mortar store is to have a discussion with someone and get advice. This store continually disappoints me.
They had the item we needed priced wrong. And were very rude about it. Someone's doing their job wrong and as the customer, it's not me.
Does anyone there know anything about tools? Tomorrow will be my third day in a row attempting to get all the equipment I need for a brad nailer and compressor. Please staff more knowledgeable people and enough to keep your customers from waiting around too long.
Ordered an special air filter. Comes in damaged. Customer service was supposed to call me back and didn't. When I went to the store to see the damaged product to get a credit and view it. The wait was rediculously long. They're supposed to be competing with Amazon?
My visit was very good I was most satisfied and especially at the checkout the young lady there had a very good disposition I feel comfortable and I would say she deserves a raise
